‘I WANTED TO CREATE A COMPANY WITH MEANING’.
It was with this conviction that Odile Ehrbar founded ADAXO International in 2004 in Mundolsheim (near Strasbourg), after a career in information systems for major groups.
There she developed the Vapodil concept, a cleaning solution based on dry steam technology that is ecological, sustainable and chemical-free, and which became the company’s core business.
“From the outset, I’ve been convinced that technology can be put to work for people and the planet. With Vapodil, we clean very effectively but in a different way, respecting both people’s health and the environment”.
But her approach goes much further. For two decades, she has been selecting, improving and designing useful, innovative and sustainable products, known as eco-products, for the Home and Well-being sectors.
“I quickly realised that every product we manufacture and consume has an impact on our environment. The mission that I have set myself through my company is to identify those products that are good for people and the planet, and to offer them to them”.
True to its values of simplicity, proximity and excellence, ADAXO relies on a network of independent distributors – door-to-door salespeople, self-employed entrepreneurs, resellers – who are often convinced users of the Vapodil solution and complementary eco-products.
“This model allows for a direct, authentic and personalised relationship with each customer. For me, that’s the economy of the future”.
In addition, like Vapodil, ADAXO is committed to a concrete approach to social, environmental and economic responsibility, as detailed in our CSR charter: sustainable management of resources, inclusion, business ethics, comfort at work… nothing is left to chance!
